Cross the border on our journey and experience horse riding in Armenia, visiting beautiful nature and historical landmarks.

Trek starts near the small village of Aygehat.

Early in the morning, ride along the rim of Debed Canyon until we get to the medieval Tsater church, carved out of rocks at the edge of the canyon.

We will then ride down the scenic Dzoraget valley and following a picnic lunch, continue towards Hnevanq, an impressive medieval sanctuary, hidden in the woods on the opposite bank of the river. The construction of the monastery was sponsored in the 7th century by the representatives of Orbelians.

Our next stop is the hilltop forts of a brother and a sister lying over the Dzoraget River. Here you can find medieval fortresses on top of steep rocky hills, between which the rapid and stormy river turns into a quiet backwater creating the most exciting scenery of the valley. And finally, our rides along the river take us back to the stable.
